Pupils and staff at Castle Newnham school, Bedford enjoyed celebrating World Book Day on Thursday, March 5, with some fantastic costumes.
They also brought their favourite books into school to read. Principal Ruth Wilkes said: “We fully support the importance of World Book Day and this is a great opportunity for the whole school to appreciate the world of books and the characters that they create. We also enjoy the fun of dressing up.”
Mr Balmbra, Head of Primary dressed as Biggles, Gangsta Granny, Alice in Wonderlands and Harry Potters.
