Six people have been charged with offences including false imprisonment, possession of a firearm and drug supply.
A number of addresses were searched by Bedfordshire Police’s Boson team, tackling guns and gangs, on Wednesday, March 11, 2020.
As a result four men and two boys from Bedford have been charged with a range of offences.
Naimour Ahmed, 20, of Faraday Square, has been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and heroin, as well as three counts of false imprisonment.
Mohammed Ali, 19, of Cavendish Street, has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon, conspiracy to supply cocaine and heroin, two counts of assault, three counts of false imprisonment and criminal damage.
Amirul Hussain, 21, of Elstow Road, has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon, conspiracy to supply cocaine and heroin, three counts of false imprisonment and criminal damage.
Shamadul Islam, 20, of Ampthill Road, has been charged with possession of an imitation firearm, conspiracy to supply cocaine and heroin, blackmail, two counts of assault, three counts of false imprisonment and criminal damage.
A 17-year-old boy has been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and heroin, three counts of false imprisonment, criminal damage and possession of a knife.
A second 17-year-old boy has been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and heroin, three counts of false imprisonment and criminal damage.
Five of the six have been remanded into custody, with one of the 17-year-olds released on bail, pending a future court appearance.
