Luton man charged with number of offences in connection with Bedford burglary

A man has been charged with a number of offences after a burglary in Bedford. 

On Monday 30 March, 2020, a woman was burgled and threatened with a knife at her property in Queens Drive, Bedford. 

Ishmail Omar, 34, of Radnor Road, Luton, was arrested on Friday, April 3, 2020, and has been charged with aggravated burglary, fraud by false representation, and possession of a knife in a public place. 

He has been remanded in custody pending a future court appearance.
