Luton convenience store raided by two masked men

Bedfordshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery at a convenience store in Luton.

At around 11.30am on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, two men wearing surgical masks and latex gloves entered the store in Dunstable Road, Luton.

The men produced a knife and threatened the store owner before jumping over the counter and taking cash from the till.

Detective Constable Richard Marshall, investigating, said: “This was a terrifying incident for the shop owner.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, who may have seen these men, or who has information about this incident.

“We believe the men made off towards Hayhurst Road and we are keen to hear from anyone who may be able to help us with our enquiries.”
