Two charged with supplying Class A drugs following Luton warrants

Two men have been charged after a series of warrants and searches involving more than 70 Bedfordshire Police officers and staff at 16 addresses in Luton.

Kamran Bashir, 36, of, Stratford Road, Luton, and Ibraz Iqbal, 35, of Woodland Avenue, Luton, have both been charged with drugs supply offences following the operation on Thursday, July 2.

Bashir has been charged with conspiracy to supply a Class A drug, possession with intent to supply a Class A drug and possession of criminal property.

Iqbal has been charged with conspiracy to supply a Class A drug and possession of criminal property.

A woman in her 40s, arrested as part of the same investigation, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. Bashir and Iqbal were both remanded in custody, and are due to appear at Luton Crown Court on 3 August.
