The annual Festival in St Paul’s Church is unable to go ahead this year, creative crafters and decorators are being asked to share photos of their own decorated Christmas trees from this year or previous years, so that the spirit of the Bedford Christmas Tree festival can continue to be shared online on the Festival facebook page. Photographs of trees at home or in your villages are all also welcome.
Margaret Oakley, Christmas Tree Festival Chair, writes: “The theme of the virtual festival is ‘Bedford Community Christmas’, enabling people to share Bedford’s Christmas Festival Spirit and give thanks for kindnesses shown during the lockdowns. This time a year ago, the Festival was in full swing.
“We all miss the fun and joy, the trees, the music, the dance, so please help to share the Festival Spirit online.”
