Charged and remain in police custody until court appearances

A man has been charged with knife and drug offences.

Clayton Newton, 21, of Anmer Gardens, Luton, was charged on Wednesday, March 10, with wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and possession of a knife in connection to an incident in Eaton Green Road, Luton on Monday, March 8.

Newton has also been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, possession of Class B drugs and being concerned in the supply of cocaine.

Newton has been remanded into custody ahead of future court appearances.

Luton man charged with GBH

A man has been charged with a serious assault following an incident on February 18 in Luton.

Jacob Lewis, 42, of Wimborne Road, Luton, was charged with grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent and possession of a bladed article.

Lewis has been remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Luton Crown Court on April 12.
