Bedfordshire Police are investigating a serious assault in Queens Bridge, between Kempston and Queens Park, at approximately 8.30pm on Monday, April 26.
Officers attended an incident where a man was found with serious injuries, which required hospital treatment.
A man in his 50s and a man in his 40s were arrested in connection to this incident.
The incident is currently being investigated and a number of lines of enquiry are being followed.
Detective Sergeant Simon Hancock, who is investigating, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who might have witnessed this assault or seen anything suspicious in the area at the time.
“Violent crime won’t be tolerated in our county and we are asking for the witnesses to come forward.”
