New ‘Welcome to Queen’s Park’ signs have been erected on Ford End Road and Hurst Grove, as requested by local Borough Councillors Nesreen Akhtar and Mohammed Masud.
Councillor Nesreen Akhtar said: “Queen’s Park is such a good place to live, we want to encourage pride in our part of Bedford, which is a thriving community. We are constantly seeking ways to enhance and improve the area.”
Councillor Mohammed Masud said: “Any ideas or projects local people can think of to make Queen’s Park better, please feel free to get in touch with us and we will see what we can do to help.”
Mohammad Yasin MP said: “When I was a Queen’s Park Councillor I was asking for these signs, so well done to Nesreen and Masud. I am glad they are finally installed and Queen’s Park gets the recognition it deserves.”
