Mowsbury Golf Club has nominated Bedford-based charity Creating Memories as their official charity of the year for 2021!
The nomination has been worth the wait after the impact of COVID-19 has meant that the original nomination in 2020 could not happen and Mowsbury Golf Club could not operate in the same way as before.
Founder of Creating Memories Pritti Saggi said: “Creating Memories is so grateful for the continued support of Mowsbury Golf Club, especially during such a difficult time, and we are both hopeful that the year ahead will be a positive one for all of us.
As part of their fundraising activities, Mowsbury Golf Club will be holding a Captain’s Charity Day (subject to COVID-19 restrictions) on the June 27, where there will be a golf competition and raffle.

Captain of Mowsbury Golf Club Tony Mattia said: “We felt it was only right to nominate Creating Memories as our charity of the year again, because we were unable to raise funds and operate as we normally would in 2020.
“The members of the club take great pride in supporting our local charities and do their best to raise vital funds. I know they would love to be able to do that again this year.”
