Biddenham school is pleased to report more outstanding achievements by their students in their GCSEs following on from the excellent A level results.
For example, Tanvir Uddin (left) achieved an amazing eight grade nines and two grade eights and has been rewarded for his hard work and application in his time with us.
Hanifa Begum (below) did equally well and achieved five grade nines and eights,
This year, following the cancellation of exams, grades were awarded through a process of teacher assessed grades, against a national standard and approved and awarded by the exam boards.
Eleanor Grylls, Head of school said: “We are incredibly proud of the way that our students rose to the challenge of adapting to a new assessment process and made the most of the opportunity to prove themselves, especially after such a difficult and disrupted year.
“Our teachers have worked tirelessly to ensure students are all able to progress onto further education and study, and we look forward to watching them develop as healthy, happy, successful young people in the future.”
