Livingstone Primary School is helping children to start the day the best way by offering breakfasts for pupils through the coming school year.

Thanks to generous sponsorship by local company GTS International the school is able to provide, free of charge, a range of breakfasts, including juice, porridge, bagels and cereals.

Headteacher Peter Thornes said: “This is just one of the ways in which we support our pupils and families.  Mornings can be such a rush for parents and children and we can help out by making sure that our pupils can get their breakfast when they arrive at school to set them up for the day and ensure that no child is going hungry.”

GTS International Ltd is an international recruitment business working in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing) sectors.

Greg McHugh, Managing Director said: “Part of our mission is to help encourage schools to guide our children into these STEM sectors. It was a great privilege to meet the staff and children from Livingstone Primary School and we are really pleased we can help them continue to provide breakfast for their pupils.”
