A 26-year-old man was in court on Monday, February 21, 2022 where he pleaded not guilty to the murder of a man who died after being hit by a car in Luton. Karan Soni, of Birchwood Avenue, Hatfield, is accused killing 34-year-old Tola Piper from Bedford. Mr Piper died on Monday, November 29, 2021, after being injured in Dewsbury Road, Luton. Judge Mark Bishop remanded him in custody for a trial at Luton Crown Court on May 9 this year.
