Anti-weapons Protesters blocked traffic in and out of the Lockheed Martin plant in Ampthill in Bedfordshire on Monday, March 7, 2022.

Some tied themselves together under plastic sheeting from about 5.30am, preventing vehicles going in and out.

One protester said: “We are a new campaign group called ‘Block Lockheed’.

“We are especially targeting Lockheed Martin as a pillar of the arms trade, particularly in light of the ongoing events in Ukraine.

“We are trying to draw peoples’ attention to the fact that war profiteers aren’t interested in peace. They make a lot of money out of constant war.”
