The much-loved Bedford College Hair and Beauty show is springing back to life in town on May 26th.

The colourful catwalk event featuring beautiful models, outrageous outfits and stunning hair styles was lost for two years during Covid restrictions, but is coming around again with a “Celebrations” theme.

Hair and Beauty trainees at the college-run Brooks salon on the High Street spend months planning and preparing for the big night. The collections are traffic-stopping as the models make their way from Brooks to the Bedford Corn Exchange for the show.

Once again BedfordBID is sponsoring the event giving £500 worth of Love Bedford vouchers which can be spend in town centre businesses.

A further top prize of £25 will be given to one lucky contestant.

Chair of BedfordBID Sam Laycock will be taking the stage to ask people to Love Bedford now more than ever.

For the first time Baker Brothers Diamonds of St Peter’s Street are supporting the event donating a prize. There will be goodie bags for the top 12 from The Body Shop Bedford too.

The show is supported by family, friends and employers but tickets are open to all and can be bought via the Bedford Corn Exchange website. Doors open at 6 pm and the show starts at 7 pm.
