A convicted Bedfordshire sex offender who was caught by paedophile hunters was jailed for 34 months on Friday, September 2, 2022.
Robin Lincoln, 55, had sexual chats with five fictitious under-age girls aged between 10 and 14.
He asked them for naked images and pictures of their knickers, Luton crown court heard. He was arrested when a paedophile hunter group arranged for him to meet one of the “girls.”
Over 400 indecent images of children were found on his ‘phone.
Most were at Level C, the lowest level. Lincoln, of Whitfield Road, Potton, appeared for sentence having pleaded guilty to five offences of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and one offence of possessing indecent images.
The court was told he had been given a suspended sentence in January this year for possessing indecent images. He had previously been jailed for sexual offences against a child.
Jailing him, Judge Michael Simon said: “You were already subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order imposed at St Albans Crown Court in Jan this year for image offences. “Thankfully none of the five individuals who you were talking to were children, but you did not know that.”
