Mike Ashley’s Fraser Group is reported to be in advanced talks to buy The Mall shopping centre in Luton.
The Mall – previously the Arndale Centre – was put up for sale last summer for £81 million.
According to the Sunday Times he is set to pay £70 million for the Mall in Luton’s town centre and £30 million for the Overgate centre in Dundee.
Fraser’s already operates a Sports Direct store in The Mall.
