A Biggleswade man on Monday, June 12, 2023, pleaded not guilty to murdering his partner at their home in the town.
Matthew Waddell, 34, is accused of killing Sarah Albone in Winston Crescent on Saturday, February 25, 2023.
Waddell appeared at Luton Crown Court via a video link from Bedford prison. He pleaded not guilty to murdering the mother-of-three between November 20, 2022 and February 26, 2023.
The body of Ms Albone, 38, was found at her home in Winston Crescent on Saturday, February 25, 2023.
She had been reported missing by family members on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, who were concerned they had not seen her since before Christmas.
A date for a three week trial has been set for August 21, 2023. Judge Michael Simon remanded Waddell in custody. A pre-trial review in to take place on July 17.
