Bedford Gallery Quire: Do you enjoy music, singing and/or history? Then Bedford Gallery Quire may be something you could try. Bedford Gallery Quire is a community group of singers and instrumentalists performing three and four part musical pieces from the West Gallery period, around 1700 to 1850. Singers don’t need to read music, the instruments help us to learn our lines. We perform in Bedfordshire and the neighbouring counties and rehearse in Bedford on the first, third and fifth Thursdays monthly. In essence we sing for the joy of bringing the rich musical heritage from local, national and international sources to life.
