The Bedford Christmas Tree Festival kicked off this morning (Wednesday, December 6) with a truly spectacular opening!
The event was brimming with people, and the air was filled with the beautiful voices of the children from St Joseph’s and St Gregory’s Catholic Primary School.
The Bedford Pipe Band delivered stirring musical performances, setting the festive atmosphere.
The High Sheriff of Bedfordshire, Mr Russell Beard extended a warm welcome and officially opened the festival, adding to the excitement.
A particularly noteworthy moment was the presentation of a special High Sheriff’s award to Margaret Oakley, the remarkable Chairman and organiser of the festival.
Festival runs until Sunday December 10.
