Addison Centre Christmas fun raising money for dance floor refurbishment

0

The great and the good turned out to see Santa at the Addison Centre Christmas Fair on Saturday December 16.

MP Mohammad Yasin, Mayor of Bedford Borough; Tom Wootton and town centres portfolio holder Andrea Spice; the Mayor of Kempston Terri Conway and two local borough councillors Carl Meader and Sue Oliver joined families for fun, a dancing show, table games and a photo with Santa – all for free.

Becky Willbye, new Centre Manager said: “This was seasonal showcase for people to be reminded about how much the Addison Centre means to the local community. We hope to see more people making bookings here in 2024”

The event raised more than £500 towards the refurbishing of the Addison Centre sprung dance floor which is popular with groups which meet there like Ceroc and junior athletic groups.
