Captain Tom Moores humiliated daughter looked on Friday, February 2, 2024,  as a giant crane removed her spa.

Neighbours saw Hannah Ingram-Moore, dressed in dark coat, as the crane hoisted the enormous unit from the £200,000 building that has to be demolished by next Wednesday.

Central Bedfordshire Council had granted permission for a building to house memorabilia marking Captain Tom’s achievement in raising £38 million for the NHS by completing 100 laps of the garden before his 100th birthday during the first covid lockdown.

But when a spa that was 49 per cent bigger appeared at the house in Marston Moretaine, Beds the council said it should be pulled down.

The demolition order was upheld by a planning inspector in November, with the couple being given three months to complete the demolition.

The crane, from a local firm NMT, was used to lift the spa onto a lorry parked alongside the couple’s Grade 11 listed home.

Photos from earlier this week showed a wing of the building with no roof or flooring while building materials are piled up to one side of the building.
