Kempston Town Councillor Mohammed Nawaz has been elected as the next mayor of Kempston.
At a brief ceremony, held in the council chambers on Tuesday, May 15, 2024, he was installed and presented with the mayor’s regalia.
Nawaz has served on the town council for many years and is well-known within the town. His deputy for this coming year is Ali Akbor.
