Bedford Polish Community are supporting the devasted Ukraine people by collecting essential supplies from Bedfordshire.
Two huge lorries left Polish House loaded with vital essential items which are needed in Ukraine.
Jagoda Szczebak said: “I am very proud of my compatriots. I work in the care industry myself and aware of the essentials that people need in this crisis.
“My heart melted when I realised the efforts people had put it towards their donations.”
Mrs Jagoda Szczebak who lives in Bedford with her family, collected two big carloads of essentials.
