All the three colleges in Bedfordshire – Bedford, Shuttleworth and now Central Beds are now part of the same powerful group.
Central Beds College officially merged with The Bedford College Group on Wednesday March 1, 2023 – creating an organisation worth nearly £80 Million, with up to 2,000 staff and 18,000 students, said CEO Ian Pryce CBE.
Ian and team joined a photo road show around the Central Beds College locations which included the main campus in Dunstable, the Motor Vehicle and Engineering unit on Luton Road, and the centre at Leighton Buzzard.
As part of the consolidation, Central Beds College will now, like the rest of the Group, be an official University Centre, meaning students can complete degrees in a wide range of subjects.
