A Prince’s Trust Team for Luton and Central Bedfordshire has been launched by The Bedford College Group.
The format will follow the successful Prince’s Trust Teams run across Northamptonshire and in Bedford which have been recognised at the highest levels – including the House of Commons.
Team Leader will be Hafizur Rahman, aged 29, who previously worked with the Group as a Learning Support Assistant, but has travelled the world working with young people in the USA and Sri Lanka.
Hafizur of Bedford is a former student, and then teacher, at Biddenham International School.
“This is an exciting new challenge and I am currently reaching out to organisations and businesses who would like to be involved or support this important project
“Young people who are interested in joining need to be between 16 – 25 and be prepared to sign up for 12 week course which will transform their lives. There is no cost to them and expenses are all covered.”
