Owner of Bedford’s 5th Avenue hair & beauty salon Kerry Cash joined the on-screen audience for Question Time on Thursday, November 23.
Kerry, who has been in business for more than 25 years under Lurke Street car park, had a question prepared on anti-social behaviour in town centres.
Kerry is no stranger to TV appearances having been featured in an apprenticeship-focussed programme with former Labour leader Ed Milliband and, she asked Boris Johnson where he got his hair cut when he visited Bedford a few years ago in a televised walk about (photo).
Said Kerry, who has championed small businesses: “Bedford is not unique in the challenges it faces. I have spoken to the new Mayor and hope he can help make a difference.”
