Dunstable teenager assaulted – police seek any witnesses

Detectives from Bedfordshire Police are appealing for anyone who has information after a teenager was assaulted in Dunstable.

On Saturday, July 4, at approximately 1am, a teenage girl was walking in the underpass by the Co-op, Lowther Road, Dunstable when she was approached by a man and woman who punched the victim in the face and walked off.

The man is described as white, skinny, with brown hair and was wearing a grey Nike tracksuit.

The woman is described as white, with dark brown hair, and she was wearing a grey top and had a black eye.

Both offenders are believed to be in their mid-to-late 20’s.

PC Hannah Latton investigating said: “This is believed to be an unprovoked attack on a teenager, and it has left the victim shaken up.

“We do not tolerate this kind of behaviour on the streets of Bedfordshire and I would urge anyone who may have seen the offenders in the area before or after, or those who may have witnessed the assault to come forward.”
