It proved costly for Joshua Adams when police decided to pull him up in a car he was driving through Luton because of insurance discrepancies.

As soon as the officers spoke to him they could smell cannabis on him and and a search of his track suit bottoms revealed he had a small amount of the drug on him.

Officers then went to the home of the 25-year-old in Dunstable Road in Luton where in his bedroom they found a small amount of cocaine in two resealable plastic bags.

On Monday, September 14, Adams pleaded guilty at Luton Crown Court to two charges of possessing drugs.

The court was told the matter went back to September 4, 2017. Adams was given a conditional discharge for one year.
