It all started so well for the Waders

REDDITCH UNITED  4
BIGGLESWADE TOWN  1

A long throw from the left found Joe Neal unattended in the box and his thumping shot hit the back of the net to give the Waders an early lead inside 90 seconds.

Not always the best scoring that soon in the match, Redditch regained their composure to pressurise Biggleswade.

A series of mistakes allowed John Clement to lob the keeper from 40 metres.

Despite honest endeavour our boys could not find the cohesion from the past three matches as Clement again gave the home side the lead on 34.

The loss of Matt Hall at centre back did not improve the situation as the Waders suffered away day blues.

Going in at the break, the accuracy of passing and attempts at goal were well wide of the mark.

After the break, body language suggested it was not going to be a Wader day as Redditch took full advantage netting again on 53 via Alex Cameron and the final goal by Ethan Johnston on 81 made it a thoroughly miserable afternoon.

Charles, Neal and Davies all had attempts but the shooting boots had been left behind as Redditch ran out worthy winners.

Another Midlands side Alvechurch visit the Yvette Brewer Stadium on Saturday the 17th October kick off 1500 hours. Up the Waders.
