The Mayor of Bedford Borough Dave Hodgson visited Aircraft Research Association’s charity Christmas lights display on December 17, and awarded main prizes to two teams – Project Management and Design & Manufacturing.
ARA decided this year to hold an internal competition for the best team displays with all proceeds going to nominated charities.
In total £2500 was raised and will be donated to Bedford Food Bank, Shelter, Cancer Research and MIND.
Based in Manton Lane, ARA is one of Bedford’s oldest and largest employers providing critical aerodynamic services to international aerospace and defence clients.
