Reduced services between Bedford and London St Pancras International: Passengers urged to check before you travel
Network Rail is urging passengers to check before they travel as a reduced train service is expected in the Bedford area throughout the day (Thursday 6 February 2020).
Damage to the overhead electric wires between Harpenden and Bedford are causing disruption to journeys between London St Pancras International and Bedford. As a result, a reduced service is in operation and trains could be subject to delay or cancellation. Network Rail teams are currently on-sight working to resolve the issues but disruption is expected throughout the day. A Spokesperson for Network Rail said: “We apologies for any inconvenience this disruption may cause. We are working hard to resolve the issues as fast and as safely as possible.
“We thank you for your patience and understating as we carry out this emergency work.” Passengers are being urged to check journey information before they travel: https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/  Thameslink advice: Bedford to London There will be a reduced service running on the available lines.
