A Bedford woman was remanded in custody after pleading guilty to wounding a man, on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.

Jennifer Fatah, 34, of Ampthill Road, will be sentenced on October 13, after a probation report is prepared.

At Luton Crown Court, prosecutor Edmund Blackman accepted her plea of not guilty to the more serious charge of wounding with intent.

The case was not opened. Judge Lynn Tayton QC said: “It is an odd case and involves wounding with the use of a bladed article.”
