Debenhams open for Christmas

Customers were going ‘wild’ to visit Bedford Debenhams this Christmas.

When the iconic High Street store opened its doors after lockdown on Wednesday December 2, people were queuing down the street.

Not surprising, as the store had lots to offer for Christmas shoppers – including a new range of alcohol-gift boxes, novelties and fabulous fashions.

Bedford Debenhams Manager Julia Horsman and team were busy during the lockdown putting the finishing festive touches to the store.

The re-opening was widely covered by the media following up national news about the financial situation of the overall company, but for ‘Christmas Present’ at least – Debenhams is still here in Bedford.
