Kieran White, Event Organiser of TEDxBedford said: “We’re really delighted to be back in person this year.  There really is nothing to beat being part of a live audience and we know that our speakers feed off the energy from the room making it an incredibly powerful experience.”

This year’s lineup of speakers come from as far afield as Somalia, India and Russia and have worked with Barclays’, KPMG, Google and Universal, with talks that will cover authenticity, narrative building, and a growth mindset.

The team behind TEDxBedford include local people as well as individuals based elsewhere in the UK and abroad.  Kieran himself is a former pupil at Bedford Modern School but now runs the project from his home in California.

TEDxBedford 2021 is proud to be sponsored by local charity The Harpur Trust.

A spokesperson for the Trust said: “It’s great to see events like this finally returning to Bedford and we are delighted that our school Bedford Modern School is once again hosting and facilitating the event.
